"Antara subjek bahasa melayu dan bahasa Inggeris mana lebih susah ?", tanya seorang penjual otak-otak kepada seorang kanak-kanak lelaki kecil (mungkin anaknya) yang masih dibangku sekolah. "Bahasa melayu" jawab anak kecil itu pantas. Perbualan itu menggamit perhatianku yang ketika itu sedang menunggu beberapa cucuk sate yang dipesan di gerai sebelah buat makan malam. Tersenyum aku mendengar jawapan balas si anak kecil itu.
